We fully embrace inclusivity and the fact that the person who’s pregnant calls the shots in their pregnancy.  A Doula is there to help be a guide along the path and should be well versed in the physiology of education of the childbearing year and its support.  A Loss or EOLD is versed in supporting families and individuals going through a familial transition that may include the loss of a pregnancy, infant/young child, or adult, and can include supporting the individual themselves as their life comes to its end.

We train and certify the following in our membership program:
• Pregnancy/Birth/Postpartum Doulas with a Built-in CBE Certification
• Loss/End of Life Doulas (in partnership with QUILT/PAIL)
•Placenta Specialists

Our goal is to offer courses that are also not part of our core doula training program, continuing education, and enrichment.  We invite you to come along on our journey as we help you along with yours.

While we feel a hands-on workshop is integral to the making of a good Doula, we do not require it for certification. Our plan is to offer in-person workshops once our current pandemic reaches endemic status.

We would love to certify Doulas ages 16+ but some of our assignments are photo-based, and using a minor in a birth simulation could lead to legally questionable photographs, and we do not support that at all.  We hope you understand why we are ages 18+.  Our workshops are planned to be babes-in-arms friendly.
