Policy on refunds

Refund, Cancellation & Payment Dispute Policy

We understand that circumstances change. We also recognize that enrollment in Learn to Doula provides access to substantial proprietary educational materials, administrative services, and a multi-year certification pathway. Our refund policy is designed to balance flexibility for students with the costs associated with providing and maintaining the program.

Tuition Refunds

Students may request cancellation and a refund within 7 calendar days of enrollment, provided they have not substantially accessed, downloaded, completed, or otherwise used the course materials.

Approved refunds will be reduced by a $75 non-refundable administrative fee to cover enrollment processing, payment processing, account creation, and related administrative costs.

Once a student has substantially accessed or begun using the curriculum, or once the 7-day cancellation period has passed, tuition is non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to, withdrawal because of changes in employment, pregnancy, family responsibilities, finances, scheduling, relocation, health circumstances, changes in career plans, or failure to complete the program within the enrollment period.

Three-Year Program Access

Initial tuition includes three years of program access from the original enrollment date.

Students are not required to complete the program within 12 months. Twelve months is an estimated completion timeframe only.

Because students receive a three-year initial enrollment period and may continue their access through the renewal process, failure to complete the program does not create eligibility for a tuition refund.

Renewal and Extension Fees

Renewal, recertification, and program-access extension fees are non-refundable once processed.

The current renewal fee begins at $75 and provides the applicable two-year renewal period.

Textbooks and Outside Purchases

Required textbooks and materials purchased from third parties are subject to the refund and return policies of the individual seller and are not refundable through Learn to Doula.

Hands-On Workshops

Hands-on skills workshops are separately scheduled educational events and may have their own cancellation, transfer, and refund policies.

The applicable workshop policy will be provided at registration for the workshop.

Payment Plans

When a payment plan is offered, enrollment in a payment plan is a commitment to pay the full tuition amount.

Stopping participation in the program, failing to complete coursework, or choosing not to continue does not automatically cancel the remaining balance owed under an agreed payment plan.

Any cancellation permitted during the initial refund period must be requested according to this policy.

Scholarships and Discounted Enrollment

Scholarship awards reduce or waive specified tuition charges but do not change the student’s responsibility for expenses that are expressly excluded from the scholarship, including required textbooks and hands-on workshop fees.

Scholarship, promotional, and discounted enrollment amounts are non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Students who believe they have been charged incorrectly, have experienced a billing error, or believe they are entitled to a refund should contact Learn to Doula directly before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the concern.

Initiating a chargeback does not automatically cancel an enrollment agreement or eliminate an outstanding payment obligation.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, Learn to Doula may suspend course access while the dispute is being reviewed.

If a chargeback is resolved in Learn to Doula’s favor, course access may remain suspended until any outstanding balance and applicable costs associated with the disputed payment have been resolved, to the extent permitted by law and the applicable payment processor’s rules.

Nothing in this policy limits a student’s rights under applicable consumer-protection law or the rules governing their payment method.

Requesting a Cancellation or Refund

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing.

The date the written request is received will be used to determine eligibility under this policy.

Enrollment in the Full-Spectrum Doula Training Program constitutes acknowledgment of and agreement to the refund, cancellation, payment, and program-access policies in effect at the time of enrollment.
